Sampling is the most important part of the process for collection development, alongside sourcing. A sample is only as good as its pattern-maker.
Brands often come to us after attempting to make the same sample a few times, which often comes down to a mediocre pattern and pattern maker who doesn’t understand fit. A depth of knowledge and experience is required to achieve the nuance of good fit.
We often recommend by-hand pattern-making initially, then digitize the patterns. Our focus on creating only the best samples ensures not only good fit but makes production much more seamless and thus ensures higher sell-through for the client and deliveries.
